The condition of the building before the museum is very poor and very unkempt. Feeling the building is a cultural site that has a high historical value, Udaya Halim took over the old building in November 2009. He immediately made the restoration process to restore the condition of the building as before. This process takes two years. Lack of literature or documents related to the original condition of the building makes Udaya Halim conduct research to other countries. Cultural studies were taken so that the restoration will not undermine the originality of the building itself. After the restoration process was completed, some Chinese decorations were added to reinforce Chinese nuances. The addition of additional partitions or decorations is based on research because none of the sources describe the authenticity of the building. • Women's family representatives along with recipients of the brightness (usually married family members) are waiting at the door of the house
• Led by an elderly family member, a group of men came to bring a handing over to the woman's home. This entourage is usually the representative of an unmarried family who becomes the carrier of a tray of the shade. In some other customs, the male parent does not participate in this procession.
• Brightness is given one by one in sequence, ranging from brightness to both parents of the bride, then to the bride, and so on.
• The merchandise that has been received by the bride, immediately taken into the room to be taken partly.

• there is a longer relationship between the bride and her family. But if the family is female
• returning half of the goods to the men means the female family is still

2. Tea pai

On several occasions, the tradition of presenting tea in some areas is very different because it can depend on the customs of the tribe and custom traditions of each Generally the procession Tea Pai held in the morning or afternoon before the procession of marriage in the place of worship; Because if it is held at night, this procession will seem "forced" or "unimportant"; Or merely ceremonial ceremonies, as an event for the handover of angpao, or as a venue for photographs. And in the procession Tea Pai is stored prayers and expectations of parents so that later their children happy.
3. Imlek (Chinese New Year)

Chinese New Year is the most important Chinese celebration. The Chinese New Year celebration begins on the first day of the first month in the Chinese calendar and ends with Cap Go Meh on the fifteenth at the full moon. New Year's Eve is known as Chúxī which means "night of the turn of the year". The word Imlek (Im = Moon, Lek = calendar) comes from the Hokkian or mandarin yin li which means the lunar calendar. In China, the customs and traditions of the region associated with the Lunar New Year celebrations are as diverse as dinner supper on New Year's Eve, fireworks fireworks, house cleaning, must have red, angpao and family members.

4. Barongsai

• Singa dance consists of two main types namely the North Lion which has a curly and four-legged mane. The appearance of the North Lion looks more natural and lionlike than the South Lions that have scales and the number of legs that vary between two or four. The head of the South Lion is equipped with horns, so it is sometimes similar to the 'Kilin' animal.
• The movement between the North Lion and the South Lion is also different. When the South Lion is famous for its hard head movement and bobbing along with gongs and drums, the North Lions movement tends to be more agile and full of dynamics for having four legs.
• One major movement of the Barongsai dance is the movement of lions eating a money-filled envelope called 'Lay See'. Above the envelope is usually plastered with watercress vegetables that symbolize gifts for the Lion. The process of eating 'Lay See' takes about half of all lion dances.

5. Peh Cun

• Duanwu Jie (Hanzi: 端午節) or so-called Peh Cun festival among Chinese-Indonesians is one of the important festivals in Chinese culture and history. Peh Cun is a Hokkian dialect for the word pachuan (Hanzi: , Indonesian: paddle boat).
From historical records and hereditary tales in Chinese society, the origin of the festival is:
The Warning of Qu Yuan Zhongzi, Qu Yuan (Hanzi: 屈原) (339 BC - 277 BC) was a state minister Chu (Hanzi: ) in the Age of Warring States. He is a gifted and faithful official to his country, giving many ideas to promote the country of Chu, united with the state of Qi () to fight the Qin () state. Unfortunately, he was criticized by the unhappy royal family who ended up in his expulsion from the Chu state capital. He who is saddened by his anxiety about the future of Chu state then commits suicide by jumping into the river Miluo. This is recorded in the history books of Shi Ji. Then according to legend, he jumped into the river on the 5th of the 5th month. People who then feel sad then look for the body of the minister in the river. They then threw rice and other food into the river with the intention that the fish and shrimp in the river does not disturb the minister's body.

Maybe some already know about the tradition in this article, but for those who do not know it will be more ngereti more about the tradition.
